Pinasthika Advertising Festival 2010 in Yogyakarta
Entering the 11th year, this year’s Pinasthika Advertising Festival will be held on 29-30 October 2010 in Yogyakarta and the categories include Communication Planning, Graphic Design, Craftsmanship, Ad Student, Young Film Director, etc. The event will be judged by the principal advertising personnel from various countries throughout Asia.



Nicholas Kosasih, who is responsible for the artistic features in the band Montecristo debut CD, will be competing with other contestants in the Graphic Design category. Nicko will be showcasing the “Celebration of Birth” graphic art as seen on the 32-page album booklet which you are holding now, hopefully.



The awarding night will be held on Saturday, 30 October 2010, at none other than the historic Prambanan Temple in Yogya. The band (represented by vocalist Eric Martoyo) will be there to support Nicko during the festive advertising gala. Will Eric light up one of his cigars on Saturday evening and call it a happy ending? We’re crossing our fingers and hope for the best of luck.
